E-Commerce Websites

Online stores designed to convert better and work harder behind the scenes.

We have launched more than 50 online stores, including projects that now generate seven-figure annual revenues. That experience shapes the way we design storefronts, customer journeys, and the operational side of e-commerce.

Whether you are already selling successfully online or just starting out, the customer experience matters. We focus on reducing friction, improving clarity, and making the buying journey feel easier from landing page to checkout.

Shopify is our main platform for online stores because it is intuitive for store owners, familiar to customers, and gives us a strong foundation for custom themes, integrations, and tailored functionality.

We also help with migrations, catalogue restructuring, content refreshes, and the supporting systems that sit around the storefront.

What Your Store Can Do

Online stores built around how you sell.

Real features from stores we have designed and built, shaped around each business and its customers.

Trade and retail customers

Sell to the public and to businesses from one store. HD Car Care's store includes trade account and stockist applications, Peppermil Interiors shows prices with and without VAT, and Clarke's Safety Mirrors takes quote requests from specifiers.

Accounts and stock systems

Connect your store to the software behind the business. The JC Trophies website, which we have built and maintained since 2015, feeds orders into Sage to generate invoices automatically.

Selling internationally

Prices in more than one currency and stores for specific markets. JC Trophies customers can switch between pounds and dollars, and we built Lansinoh a Shopify store for its Irish customers.

Helping customers choose

Navigation and features shaped around how people buy. House of Mosaics customers browse by material, shape, colour or style and order cut samples; Boardwise is organised by the sports its customers ride. Our Shopify SEO checklist explains how good collections and navigation help in search too.

Your Questions

E-commerce questions.

Things businesses ask us before starting an online store.

Our studio is in Hixon, and we design websites for businesses in Stafford, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Cannock, Rugeley, Stone, Uttoxeter, Leek and the West Midlands.

Which e-commerce platform should we use?

For most new online stores we recommend Shopify: it is intuitive for store owners, familiar to customers and flexible enough for custom themes and integrations. If your store runs on another platform, such as OpenCart, we can maintain it or plan a move.

How much does an online store cost?

It depends on the size of your catalogue, the design and the features and integrations you need. Tell us what you sell and how you sell it, and we will prepare a proposal setting out the work, pricing and timescales.

Can our store connect to our accounts or stock system?

Often, yes. JC Trophies' website sends orders to Sage to generate invoices automatically. Tell us which systems you use and we will look at the best way to connect them.

Can we sell to trade and retail customers from one store?

Yes. Trade account applications, stockist pages, quote requests and prices shown with or without VAT can all sit alongside your retail store.

Will changing platform affect our search rankings?

A move should be planned to protect what already works. We map existing product and category addresses, keep important content and set up redirects, so customers and search engines reach the right pages.
